How to Interpret the ASI Team Statistics
This table shows how to interpret
Amy's ASI SETI@Home Team Statistics.
| |
Speed |
Green |
Red |
Above ASI* |
Faster than ASI |
Ahead of ASI Won't catch them |
Behind ASI Will pass us |
Below ASI* |
Slower than ASI |
Ahead of ASI We will pass them |
Behind ASI Can't catch us |
*That's above or below ASI on Amy's list, not on the SETI@Home
team list.
|
- If a team is above ASI on Amy's list and
GREEN,
they're ahead of us and we'll never catch them
unless we speed up.
- If a team is above ASI on Amy's list and
RED,
they are coming up from behind and will eventually
pass us.
- If a team is below ASI on Amy's list and
GREEN,
that's good news. It's a team we will pass.
They are ahead of us in number of work units,
but moving more slowly.
- If a team is below ASI on Amy's list and
RED,
they're part of our history. They are already
behind us and moving more slowly, so we are
widening the gap.
If you compare the speed of the teams from
Amy's
statistics to the
position of the teams in the the
SETI@Home Top 200 Clubs list, you can see how the
Artemis Society International team is doing relative to other clubs.
The most interesting teams are
ABOVE-RED and
BELOW-GREEN.
Others are interesting because they are near us in Amy's list;
small changes in their speed or or hours could have a signficant
influence on our eventual rank in the list of Club Teams.
