Pookkah's Sims	Trollops & Johns fans, pay heed: Lots of purple stuff at Pookah's Sims! You'll find doors, windows, columns, lilac trees, lifeguard chairs, and even a purple rhody bush! There are lots of indoor furnishings in complementary shades of purple, too. Pookkah makes things to help clutter up your garage, too. One of my favorite items was a sink to match the port-a-potty. Property Lines	Opened November 11, 2001 with 10 houses. Now up to 40 nicely designed houses, 4 for each lot. Many of the houses are built on "extended lots," meaning they extend beyond the normal boundaries of the lot in The Sims. (Use the map_edit cheat code to do this.) Be careful with extended lots because they can make your neighborhood screen look funny. Also has a collection of skins from Sim Fantasy and some walls and floors. Paintings are coming soon. Psychofairy	Just the stuff you need if some of your characters are half a bubble off plumb. Psychofairy provides a mix of colorful and gothic goodies that will keep your homes from lapsing into mudane doldrums. You'll find the link to Psychofairy's stuff for the game near the top of her navigation menu. A few of the categories listed in the navigation menu don't have anything yet, but she promised more off-beat things are on they're way. Red Light Sims	Red Light Sims opened on February 19, 2003 with a stunning collection of skins and very clever objects for adults only. True to its name, the site offers a baker's dozen ensembles for working girls, and several sets of skins for both sexes for nudes and very sexy lounge wear. Swimwear is coming soon. The collection of objects starts with some clothing booths that you just won't believe until you see them! Also hosts a nearly complete collection from the lengendary Wage of Sim, including all of Richard R. Ward's body tables, fashions, and the famous fembots. Adults-only access is controlled by the SimsHost door dragons; because of the illustrative content and previews, you need to subscribe to SimsHost to be able to view the site. Roman Sims	Carpe Simulos! One of the most original Sims sites on the net, devoted entirely to life in a Roman city at the time of the Caesars. Be careful, you just might learn something while you play at Roman Sims. Stories, skins, household furnishings, building materials, and an entire neighborhood of houses. Added some more Roman lamps and new walls circa February 2002. Pasiphae says, "The ancient Romans built with stone, and so do we! Even though little of the furniture and walls fit the Livin' Luna theme, I put up my badge here to call attention to the collection of marble floors. S and M Builders	Lots of lots and building materials. Campgrounds for Sims Vacation. Places for Downtown. Wallpapers for every room. Outdoor furniture. (Something that looks for all the world like a bathtub full of rocks. Maybe we should ask about that one.) Some nifty recolored appliances and cabinets and things for indoors, too. Hunting and fishing equipment. Stonework is a thematic specialty. There's even a department for skins, since clearly no self-respecting construction company would go into business in Sim City without a harem girl as their receptionist. OK, seriously, Marko's collection of skins will knock your socks off with the beauty and detail. (And there really is a harem girl!) Entry updated 3 August 02
S & R Construction	Also known as Oasis Inc. Limited (see page 7), this site from Stephanie B appears to have moved from 0catch to FreeHomePage to Angelfire some time between September 2001 and June 2002. Had lots of houses. The White House was here. According to the notes on the FreeHomePages sites, Steph's houses are now located on other sites. We found some on the Angelfire site; see the link above. Warning: A programming error on the 0catch site caused it to attempt to set the same cookie dozens of times, resulting in browser crashes. We don't know if this error propagated to the new hosts; but it doesn't seem to be showing up any more. Entry updated 18 Jun 02
Sandshifter's Sims Site	If you are wondering where an object or a skin file came from, look here. Sandshifter has a list of the initials and Tmog numbers used by most of the more prolific object makers and skinners. The list also serves as a really nice links list to help you find the good stuff. Also offers the nude patch, which removes the censor from your sims when they take their clothes off, as well as hints, cheats, and some stuff for Missouri fans. Schoener-Simulieren	Styled as an on-line magazine about The Sims. Many of the downloads are self-installing .exe files. Mac users can treat these as zip files, and Windows users really should download them to disk and then unzip them with WinZip to avoid the risk of picking up a computer virus. We found it very difficult to find our way around the site. Presented entirely in German, but quite readable in English by using the Alta Vista Babelfish Translator. Entry created 1 April 02
Scoobysims	Scoobysims is back again! After about five months in limbo after her previous web host shut down, Scooby came back on a new server with her own domain only to be shut down again by high hosting costs. But she's back on November 16, 2002! She's had to switch to being a subscription site to keep up with the bandwidth bills -- just $5 for 30 glorious days of Scooby! Very impressive collection of custom-made furniture and other objects. Unique and attractive furniture for every room, in several different styles. Downloads are offered in both .zip and .exe formats. Offers three skins with a unique, verywide body mesh produced as an experiment. This is where you will find the much-sought-after brass love bed that illustrates many of the pages on the Trollops & Johns pages. In our previous notes, we said the pages load rather slowly; but it looks like the new server is running with blazing speed. Pasiphae says, "Wow! Look at all that beautiful wood and bamboo! SDevil's Sims Houses	As the name implies, lots of houses for lots of lots. Emphasis mostly on the location of walls. Caddy says, "Gets my award for the most pointless use of those awful frames."
Secret Sims	It's no longer a secret! In November 2003, the webmistress of Secret Sims announced that she is, indeed, our beloved Stina. You may remember Stina's highly acclaimed work from the halcyon days of the SimGoddesses web site. Secret Sims has a very large collection with several coordinated sets of outstandingly well-crafted furniture. Includes a lot of stuff from the Ikea catalog. This is also the home of the "Tombstone" collection that lets your sims live in the Old West. Includes several special collections of goodies for folks who donate money to the site. Stina is hoping folks will donate enough that she can afford the (very expensive) tools required to create furniture for The Sims 2. Has some do-it-yourself tools to make it easy for folks with just a little bit of experience with Transmogrifier (Windows only) to make furniture in their own favorite colors without having to create the art or grind your teeth over the z-buffers. Artists note: Secret Sims no longer allows clones of her work to be distributed from pay sites, but distribution of clones from free sites is still OK. Older clones, that were on line when the policy changed, are OK. See the site's policies for details. After thesims.co.uk stopped hosting fan sites, Secret Sims was off line for a while, but returned to us in March 2002 with their own domain! Hosted by A+ Hosting in Fremont, California. SeNeCa's Wicked Sims	Permanently off line. Caddy says, "The Wicked Sims may be gone, but a remnant of SeNeCa's Wicked Sims still remains on line on Fortune City, so it's not too late to bring some angels and demons into your game. Serene Estates at Candace's Sim Bazaar	When your sims have finally made it big, move them into the carefully crafted mansions from Serene's Estates. She applies her professional decorator's eye and experience to create very realistic, playable houses with uncommon attention to every detail of the architecture and siting the buildings on the lot. If we gave awards for the best of the best in Sims architecture, it would go to Serene's Victorian Splendor mansion.
