Lunar Commerce Conference

Strawman Plan

November 15-17, 1998

Don't pack your bags yet. This is a proposed event did not happen. Between the International Lunar Exploration Working Group Meeting, the Space Frontier Foundation Conference, and the upcoming launch of the first elements of the International Space Station, we were just too busy to put this conference together for November 1998.

We'll keep this announcement on line as a reference for future planning by the Lunar Industries Association.

9:00 PM - 12:00 PM Session: The Moon as the Ultimate Sandbox
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM Lunch.
Speaker: Jules Verne
1:30 PM - 3:00 PM Session: The Toe Socks Industry on the Moon
3:00 PM - 3:30 PM Break
3:30 PM - 5:30 PM Session: Great Mambo Chicken and the Transhuman Condition
6:30 PM - 9:30 PM Formal Dinner
Keynote speaker: Adam Selene

9:00 PM - 11:00 AM Session: Baking Cookies under Vacuum Conditions
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Closing Remarks

Maybe the Hilton across from the Johnson Space Center on NASA Road One.
Registration: TBD

Probably about a hundred bucks or so to cover the expenses for running the conference. Conference membership open to commercial businesses related to the moon, associated government agencies, and supporting organizations.
