United Societies in Space Conference, April 25-26, 1998, Albuquerque

What?

The first USIS event will center on the incorporation and implementation strategies of the Lunar Economic Development Authority. Called Countdown #6, it will be held in conjunction with SPACE ' 98 sponsored by the American Society for Civil Engineering.

Who?

The General Chairman is Dr. Stewart Johnson, a Regent and winner of the 1997 Space Humanitarian Award (SGJ January 1997, Vol. 4:1, p.2).

Where?

Both meetings will take place in New Mexico at the Albuquerque Hilton Hotel.

When?

USIS will open SGC#6 with a reception on the evening of Saturday, April 25th. The main session will follow on Sunday, April 26th, and include a special viewing of Dr. Peter Glaser's video on space-based energy.
