Adam London is involved in various technical aspects of the Artemis Project. He is the Team Leader for the SSTO Concept Design Project Team, where he manages a group of engineers.
In technical work for the Artemis Project, he mostly works on the propulsion and structure aspects of the project.
Adam has a Masters in Aerospace Engineering from MIT. He previously received an SB at MIT, and plans on working toward a PhD as he waits for a position of SSTO engineer to develop in the aerospace industry.
Adam's current research is on propulsion for micro-spacecraft (under 150 kg), and his PhD will probably be done building literally the world's smallest rocket motor. The idea is to use MEMS (micro-electrical and mechanical systems) technology to build turbo-pumped rockets that are about the size of credit cards, and produce about 1 lbf of thrust.
