Cronkite Delivers the NewsWe take great pleasure in announcing Cronkite, an automated system for handling news articles. This system, designed with the cooperation of the Artemis Society's Electronic Communications Technical Committee ( ECTC) and Gregory Bennett, was written by James Jones of LunaSoft Co., proud sponsor of the Artemis Project. Named of course, for Walter Cronkite, "the most trusted man in America", this software is entrusted with updating the nightly news on our web site. Its genesis coincides with the creation of the office of the Artemis Project's Newsmonger, whose job it is to report on significant events and interesting occurrences relating to The Artemis Project. |
