About the Habitat Images

These images were developed by Diletta Provvedi for a thesis developed in collaboration with Lara Sani to fulfill the requirements of a course on Space Architecture at Florence University in Florence, Italy.

The chair of the course is Prof. Daniele Bedini, who founded I.D.E.E.A. Italy (International Design for Extreme Environment Association) in 1993.

IDEEA is a non-profit organization that coordinates projects and researches inherent to extreme environments, including the space environment. In 1995, IDEEA and University of Florence founded together another, broader-scoped association, ISU-IACSA (Italian Affiliate Campus for Space Architecture) of the International Space University.

The ISU-IACSA, a peripheral campus of International Space University of Strasbourg. The International Space University is the preeminent organization in Europe for Space and Space technology. The Italian campus is the ISU's center for internal space environments and architecture.
