World Science Fiction Convention

The World Science Fiction Convention, or Worldcon is held each year in cities around the world, traditionally on Labor Day weekend. (Labor Day is a U.S. holiday, the first Monday in September.) When the Worldcon is held outside North America, there is also a North American Science Fiction Convention (NASFiC).

This section of the Artemis Data Bookprovides a repository of information for the ASI Worldcon Team. Because stories and entertainment play a key role in the Artemis Project, we usually plan to have a significant presence at each year's Worldcon.

For general information about past, present, and future Worldcons, and the World Science Fiction Society, see

"World Science Fiction Society", "WSFS", "World Science Fiction Convention", "Worldcon", "NASFiC" and "Hugo Award" are service marks of the World Science Fiction Society, an unincorporated literary society.
