Alternative Lodging Nearby
We should have plenty of space at the Hampton Inn, but if you want to consider alternative lodging or an extended stay in Las Vegas, you might consider:
Budget Suites TropicanaOne block from the Hampton Inn at the nearest point; but the facility is 3 blocks long so you might have a bit of a walk depending on where your room ends up.Caution: There are two Budget Suites hotels on Tropicana. You want the Tropicana facility, not the Wynn facility, if you want to be within walking distance of the Hampton Inn.
For an extended Las Vegas vacation, Budget Suites Stardust offers more amenities and is closer to the northern realms of The Strip.
Wild Wild West Hotel & Gambling Hall
Across the street from the Budget Suites on the north side of Tropicana. A favorite of the guys who drive the big trucks. They tell me it has great food. Crossing Trop on foot can be an adventure.New York New York Hotel

Most of the hotels have courtesy vans that run around The Strip. Taxis are plentiful and cheap.
