Randall Severy and Ian Randal Strock, talking about the Artemis
Project, were featured in a seven-and-a-half minute segment on the
French science television program E=M6, which appeared in
April 2003.
Ian Randal Strock was interviewed on 16 July 1999 by
Globo Internacional, a Brazilian television network, for
a program on the Apollo 11 30th anniversary, to be aired soon.
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) produced a
mini-series entitled Future
Fantastic. The series was about current and near-future
scientific advances, and hosted by Gillian Anderson (of The X
Files fame). The series aired as half-hour episodes in
England, which were combined into one-hour episodes for broadcast
in the USA in 1997 on The Learning Channel. The Artemis Project specifically appears in
the episode entitled "Under a Purple Sky".
Greg Bennett is interviewed, and there are background shots of the
1996 Artemis Conference, held in Houston, Texas. First US broadcast
was 9 March 1997.
Mentions:
Images from the Artemis Data Book, specifically, the "walk around"
of Moonbase Artemis, were used as background graphics (uncredited,
unfortunately), on the CBS Evening News on Thursday 3 September 1998.
